Why medicine, and how I got here.
I’ve always been drawn to the idea of a career where knowledge can make a real difference in someone’s life. Medicine felt like the perfect intersection of curiosity, compassion, and purpose — a field that challenges you to keep learning while giving you the opportunity to care for people when they need it most. .
Getting here hasn’t been a straight or easy path. There have been moments of uncertainty, long days, and plenty of times when I questioned whether I was capable of making it this far. But every experience has shaped the way I see medicine and reminded me why I chose this path in the first place. I’m still learning, still growing, and still figuring out the kind of doctor I want to become — but that journey is what makes it meaningful.
